Food is what Washington Grown is all about! From the field to the plate and everything in between, Washington Grown highlights the amazing food scene and industry that makes Washington State a great place to enjoy hundreds of locally grown items.
Now entering its 5th season, Washington Grown has become one of the Northwest’s favorite local television programs. Washington Grown tells the story of how the more than 300 crops grown in Washington State provide our meals, our culture and our economy in many different ways. Viewers watching the show get to experience the beauty and charm of rural Washington while following their food from the field, through production, and finally to their plate at some of the trendiest restaurants in the Northwest’s biggest cities.
Washington Grown has worked with Zipline since the launch of the show. In fact, our talented graphic design team even created the logo for Washington Grown. Now with the transition to Season 5 we all agreed it was time to overhaul the website. While many of the popular features and functions remained, we sat down with the Washington Grown team and looked at how to improve the experience. We asked questions like how do we make the content more engaging? How do we make recipes easier to use? How do we improve the responsive experience?
